Southwalk 2016 featuring The Pride Of Southern Cebu

Cebu is considered as one of the most visited province all year round. Right now, its business industry got its citizens covered for their financial needs. No wonder, the province is known as one of the most developed place in the country. But behind those developments in trade and industry, no one can deny its rich culture which is evident in every municipality. Of course, the southern part will always have its fair share.

I was lucky to have a day tour in some municipalities in the South. It all started with an invitation from Click Photo Club for a photo walk. Since I was into photography, I did not hesitate to join. We started the day from Naga Baywalk sunrise down to Oslob Plaza sunset. Below are some photo taken from yours truly.

First up is the Naga Baywalk sunrise. It is truly fascinating to see the changes from the dark sky to a morning sky.

Next stop was Carcar, the place known for its delicious "Chicharon" (crunchy pork skin snack). Below is a sight near the municipality's plaza.

Here is a typical day in Sibonga

The popular Simala Church will always be included. Its architectural design can now be compared to those abroad.

There is a popular spring in Dalaguete named Obong spring. Since it was a weekend and the place was jam-packed with people, I just took this photo near it.

Another heritage site in Oslob is the famous Cuartel.

And finally, everything was wrapped up with the sunset at Oslob Plaza.

I would like to thank Click Photo Club for the opportunity to see beyond the progressive view of Cebu especially in southern part. For sure, there are more places to be explored in the coming weeks and next destination will be Sumilon Island. Check out the photo walk for Sumilon Island next month.
